Helper Technician/Build-a-Tech
United Water Restoration is interested in finding a candidates interested in learning the Restoration Business and join our family! We have been providing Restoration Services for homeowners and businesses for over 10 years. As a technician, you are the heart of the company. We have a passion for our business and our employees, as they are the heartbeat of what keeps our business growing!
Pay - $12-18/hr. Depending on Experience
Technician Job Duties:
Take direction from a lead technician on proper IICRC standards for Restoration.
Have the ability to carry equipment up to 75 lbs. from a vehicle into a home.
Be able to use hand tools such as drills, drywall knives, hammers, pry-bars, etc.
Be willing to take part in classroom and on-the-job training.
Rotating on-call week/weekends where you are to answer, respond, and perform all above duties during after-hours for emergency calls.
Additional Duties
In addition to the description listed above, you will also be responsible for the following:
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Be available to work the same schedule as your lead technician.
Candidates must possess the following Skills/Characteristics:
- Strong Communication, both written and verbal.
- Positive "Can-Do" attitude.
- Ability to use and handle computer/tablet/smart phone
- Ability to work both within a team, and independently.
